Traffic is not a pipeline

Plenty of specialist clinics pay an agency to keep general visibility campaigns running, then read a monthly graph of clicks and video views and conclude the pipeline is healthy.

It often is not. If those clicks come from people looking for free advice, or from outside the radius a patient will actually drive, the budget is buying attention that cannot convert. When a single case is worth thousands, volume is a liability rather than a cushion.

Buy intent, not impressions

Someone with an acute problem does not browse for a solution. They search for one, and they do it with a decision already half made.

• Scrub the keywords. Cut the broad informational terms that pull in research traffic and do-it-yourself questions.
• Tighten the radius. Spend on bottom-of-funnel searches inside the distance a patient will actually travel, not the whole metro.
• Anchor the map listing. Keep the Google Business Profile exact and consistent with the site, and keep reviews arriving on a schedule rather than in bursts.

Close the booking loop the same day

Winning the click is the cheap part. Send that person to a generic homepage, or to a form that lands in an inbox nobody reads until Monday, and the intent you just paid for is gone by the time anyone replies.

Connect the ad to a page where the appointment can be held immediately.
