Why your ad dashboard claims success while revenue stands still.
Two platforms reporting a strong return on the same order is not a strong return. It is the same order, counted twice.

Every platform claims the sale
A founder reads a healthy return on ad spend in the ad manager and a flat number in the bank. That gap is rarely a mystery. Someone sees an ad on one channel, clicks another, and buys after an organic search, and each platform books the conversion as its own.
Add those reports together and the return looks strong while the real cost of acquiring a customer stays invisible. Scale on that reading and you scale the error.
Clean the measurement before you scale the spend
- Server-side conversions. Pass first-party conversion data from your server to the ad networks rather than relying on a browser pixel that may never fire.
- One view of revenue. Consolidate acquisition metrics into a single source that reconciles against net sales, not platform estimates. Two platforms cannot both take credit for the same order.
- Check the order economics. A single low-margin item leaves nothing to cover acquisition. Multi-unit bundles raise average order value so each order can carry its own ad cost.
Match the page to the reason someone is buying
Routing every audience through one homepage flattens the thing that makes them buy. Different buyers want the product for different reasons, and the page has to say so.
Split the budget across those angles, then send each one to a page built around that motivation. On a single-SKU store this took Q2 sales to $35,262 across 462 orders, about 23x the prior-year quarter, once the audience was rebuilt and the average order carried more than one unit.
Fix the path before you buy more traffic. That is what conversion rate optimization is for, and it is usually cheaper than more spend. If your dashboard and your bank statement disagree, see how we work as a San Antonio marketing agency or request a growth audit.
